On desktop the language control, sign-in and the main button could sit on top of the last few navigation links, worst of all once the landing page bar docked on scroll. Sign-in was being offered twice, the language control is now compact rather than spelling the language out, and the bar has room for every link in every language. Between tablet and desktop widths the full menu now opens from the same button as on a phone.
